Day -1: Killing time

I was going to do all sorts of things today, but it turns out that my mail holding, which should have started tomorrow, is already in place; and the agents have not inspected my former flat so I can't complete the paperwork on that yet.  I have contacted the agents and they've assured me the inspection will be done tomorrow morning so I will drop in there to sign the forms after lunch tomorrow.

I have sorted out my baggage.  I'm ready to go!

Tomorrow is of course Day 0.  I need to ...

• check out of the hostel by 10 am;
• put my main pack in the hostel store room for the day;
• drop my excess baggage off at the storage place;
• make my way to Coburg to complete the bond refund form (after lunch);
• make my way to Footscray to check the flat's mailbox;
• kill several hours;
• collect my pack from the hostel;
• catch the airport shuttle;
• check in;
• kill time until departure.

Sounds like a good day to catch up with friends.
